Main objective of Education Loan E Voucher Scheme

The main objective of starting this scheme is to provide loans to the students of economically weaker sections so that they can continue their studies and do not stop their studies midway due to poor financial condition of the family. The Government of India is providing loans up to Rs 10 lakh to eligible students under this scheme. The Government of India is charging 3% interest per annum on this loan.

This interest rate is much lower than the market interest rate. Because low interest rates are being charged on the loans provided under this scheme, any student will be able to continue his studies without worrying about legal problems.
